We had a fantastic time at the 11th annual Phylla Mae Fall Fest a couple of
weeks ago. If you missed it, don't despair. We've got plans for all sorts of
special events over the next months, and there's always next year....

On the schedule below, please note that there are TWO opportunities to dance
to our favorite local brother and brother dance music wonder team: Andrew
and Noah VanNorstrand. They will be providing music for Sarah VanNorstrand's
excellent calling on November 15, and then returning as part of their
incredible band, the Great Bear Trio on December 20.

A spring callers gathering and a contra prom are also in the planning
stages. Stay tuned for more info about those events as they begin to take
shape. 

Our friend Kristin Curtis wants you to know that you'd be very welcome at a
dance in Cazenovia this Saturday. David Smukler is calling, and the band is
Eileen Nicholson, Laurel Sharp and John Wobus. Kristin writes: "It's a first
at our church...Nov 8th at the Presbyterian church in Caz...7:30-9:30 with
David Smukler and team...we are so looking forward to it. Would LOVE to have
folks that know what they are doing on the floor join us as well!"

Also, Kathy Kellish and Rick Harding are very excited about hosting dances
at their beautiful barn in Manlius, NY. There was a great Halloween dance
there last week, and we are holding our next English country dance there as
well (December 6). Please come and check it out! Kathy and Rick are planning
to have dancing there at least once a month. The Kellish Farms website is at
